Hi - I'm new here, so apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place.

I'm wondering if any of you might be able to identify this Saint Laurent mens jacket. It's from a runway show, somewhere between SS13 and FW14 (early Slimane shows - the first 3 or 4 I think - no later than 2014 for certain), so it doesn't have sale tags.

I have looked at the Vogue slideshows for FW13, SS14 and FW14, and some other photos of SS13 (can't find a full slideshow of the runway show), but can't identify it there, though I'm no expert.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!! Thanks

You have to look at the tag which shows the year of production. That may be from psych rock though

The tag is a bit odd, I think because it's a runway piece? It says 'MCR 2013' though, so that sounds like it's a 2013 piece.

well thats 2 button and yours is 3 button.

the 1000 means black.

MCR could stand for mens collection runway (but it could have got dropped from the show).
not been through every look so cant check.
or the C stands for campaign. (a model wore a 3 button jacket in a lot of the 2013 stuff).
Hedi wore a 3 button a lot back then too.

The fact that it doesn't show up in any of my searches makes me think it was some kind of prototype that got dropped or something.

Annoyingly, there doesn't seem to be a Vogue slideshow of all the runway looks (unlike almost any other year since). The best I can find is this:

Thanks, I checked Vogue's images of 2014 SS and AW, and AW 2013 (no images of SS 2013 like I say).

These are possible matches, which I'm now examining, all from SS14. But it's hard to tell from the images. Looked on youtube but it's all very low resolution so no details visible.

Is it criminal that I still find those looks so good? I know things have moved on, but they look so intrinsically aesthetically pleasing to me!
