Been in love with this brand for a few years. Bought some trousers with my first pay check in London a few years back. Just bought the tielocken and what can I say? Always incredible.

Any plans for some nice shirting to come in the spring? (some older shirts have become a little snug)

The tielocken!

A connoisseur's if I might say so. Not that we want to discourage non-connoisseurs from giving it a go.

Happy to hear you're happy with it.

We are looking around now at cloth options for shirts. The cotton calico which we've used a few times over the years is a shoo-in (washed a couple of times prior to making the shirts to give it more sense of character) and then at least a couple of high-grade linens (the heavy and sanforised ones which drape nicely and shrink only very little when washed). We've been trying out a few new versions of the hemp and linen waffle cloth that we tried out last year on the shirt with short sleeves. Not sure if any of them will make the cut, but it's probably more likely than not.

Any SB3s planned for this spring/summer? I realize that's a way off, but thought you might have some inkling of what's in store.

Never heard of the SB3! What's that?

If you mean the SB (which I guess sounds like "SB3" but only has two buttons) then ... afraid not, sorry. Maybe again in the winter. We did consider doing a linen version but we can't see any that would really elevate the jacket over a run-of-the-mill linen jacket, at least from a distance. Whereas in the winter there are myriad woollen materials that bring more character and distinctiveness to the table.

We've been thinking about trying out other longstanding and typically cold-weather styles for the spring, though, such as a lightweight cotton version of the balmacaan.

And the work jacket, too. That's coming along in moderately lightweight cotton before too long.

Yes! I absolutely love it. Man I'd dig this jacket in navy and lighter colors too. If that ever comes to light, I'd want in on that. Thank you for a terrific garment!

Great.

The work jacket is a similar style, but slightly slimmer in the way it hangs, and of course much, much lighter given the heftiness of the heavy corduroy.

The trucker will probably have a well-earned break now for a while.
