I'm really torn between getting these or Nutmeg! Very nice!

I went through a lot with RM to get these haha, they won't make bone suede as a bespoke option normally, they only did it for me because they stuffed up and sent me completely wrong boots back on November and then told me they would repair them, then lost them somehow, then told me they couldn't repair them and they'd have to make a new pair, and I pushed them to change the design to what I wanted as a bespoke boot to compensate for the months of delays, it was a bit of an ordeal.
Closest they'll normally make is rock suede, which is more grey than beige in real life.

Beautiful boots! I'd love that light suede but with two young kids, they'd stay clean for approximately 3 seconds :p
Waited since November and had some customer service headaches but RM came good and these finally arrived today! Bespoke Bone Suede/Bone Elastics/Natural Comfort Sole. (Plus matching belt.)

As someone who is pretty OCD about keeping things clean, I am trying to accept that these will not remain pristine forever by convincing myself that kind of roughed up beige suede boots often look great so I should embrace it, haha.

What’s the starting price (in Australia) for RM Williams’ MTO program? I’m thinking of getting chocolate suede boots with a dynamic flex sole in size 8.5 X.

The way they're going the only thing available on the mto program will be off brown ox hide and it'll be cheaper to buy ugg boots made from dodo foreskin.

I was in Percy St. today, appears with the recent website revamp they have again changed their MTO program, there is no longer a distinction between MTO and bespoke boots, which is great because the program is now cheaper for the same flexibility. Although you can no longer choose stitching colour, but no big loss there, I guess they just select based on leather choice. They've also ditched a lot of the bullshit bespoke colours they used to offer (Like sky blue suede for instance) and they now offer a much more sensible range, including most of their off the shelf leathers now thankfully. Interestingly, the bone ones I just bought are an MTO option now... explains why they agreed to make them for me, haha.

These pics are big so I've made them thumbnails.

Also, I had a look at all the new ranges. I don't like the Kingscote much in person, but everything else looks really good. Except the Marc Newsons which are atrocious. I did notice an issue with the white Surry sneakers I was planning on buying, it seems like the brown leather lining rubs into the white edges of the tongue and toe, which stains the white a very light brown underneath. It appeared on the pair I tried on, the sales guy got another pair that had the same problem, and I looked at the display sneaker and it also had marks. They're not visible when on foot but they seem permanent (Sales guy couldn't get them off with leather cleaner) so beware.

On the plus side, the quality other than that was very impressive. Comfortable and removable leather lined padded inner soles. Probably a bit more than the dynamic flex boots. I may still buy a pair despite the rub thing since you can't see it on foot anyway. None of the other colours have the rubbing issue.

And finally, nothing to do with fashion but just because I thought it looked very badass, here is a salt encrusted ram skull in their museum. The museum is decent if you are in the area. Lots of historical boots behind glass and walls covered in information I unfortunately didn't have time to read.

Some finishes are a bit finer vs others that are nappier but they just call it suede. They did have a desert kip finish which was a lot rougher looking but it doesn't seem to be an MTO option any more.
Are the suedes offered all calf or is Kangaroo suede also available
