Arrested Development (arguably the best comedic series of all time)
UK Office
Curb your enthusiasm

I like the series you mentioned, so I figure you may enjoy these. Though they are less serious, they are intelligent and very well-regarded by smart viewers.

Second (and third and fourth and so on) the Burn Notice recs, also: Deadwood.

And i just started rewatching Twin Peaks, which really doesn't jive much with some of the other lists here but is certainly one of my favorites. Give it a shot!

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
