Virtually every time I visited NYC I would stop in at Saks to see him. He always looked amazing not only in the way he dressed but in his personal style. The clothing and his manner went together perfectly.

But badly. Italians love the 'British' look and by and large pull it off very well. You see lots of tweed, cord, Barbour, Belstaff (of course), Burberry, brown suede chukkas etc etc. I could sit in Rome and watch the world go by forever.

So much so that Belstaff is now Italian owned.
