Every time I wash an overdyed item for the first time and see the water go down the drain, I feel like I just lost half the garment.

Stingray is pretty cool, although I've only ever seen it on small leather goods (sheaths, holsters, belts, mag holders).

So Burberry has added Navy to the regular color runs of the Heritage Trench. Red too (for women). I really think Navy is the most versatile color a trench could be, so that's pretty cool.

there's an awesome vintage store on la brea in la called what goes around comes around that stocks cool shop coats, souvenir jackets, and for some reason, cdg and junya. they had that junya x porter jacket that folds into a bag, and this other thin jacket which for some stupid reason was a size too small for me. i havent felt overpowering clothing lust in a while, and even though the jacket i wanted was obviously too tight in the shoulders at xs, my mind raced to rationalize a purchase. im still thinking about it. i feel like my heart is being torn open.. the pull is too strong, and i am so weak...

but anyway, i know that porter collab is a grail for some people, so its there in a size small for $1000.

What goes around comes around is so damned overpriced it's scary. You can go to the Rose bowl every month and find a lot of the same stuff for a fraction, all you need is the time. I'll give it to them though, they know how to curate their stores.

i agree, but there are some things that you will never find in a lifetime of scavenging thrift stores and swap meets. they had this beautiful heavy black linen shop coat that must have been fourty years old, almost new condition. priced at seven hundred. something similar from needles would cost more.

i need to check out that swap meet though. maybe it could be an la guyz meetup.
