Is there a watch thread? I read the cool StyleForum newsletter and it totally reminded me I've been meaning to buy a Sinn 556i.. . They retail for $2000 here for some reason, so I want to pick up a used one for half that, is there something I need to watch out for? I can just like... buy one that looks in good shape or is there some watch thing to look for?

Here's one I had in mind: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/yamaki78/h3493ee/

Maybe keep an eye out for one at http://www.watchrecon.com/

Yeah there's a couple, the fancy watch thread which is $5k+ and the poor man's watch thread. Dunno where Sinn fits in but I have 2, 856utc and ezm3 (both of which I got second hand). I don't think anyone fakes Sinn, so just get one with box & papers and you should be fine. The tegimented steel is really awesome

Pretty upset that grailed will not pull the enfantes riches deprimes shirts on their site that among other things depicts a swastika (not in anti-swastika type way). I have reported the shirts multiple times, emailed them about it only to silence and posted comments in various threads on their main page only to have them delete it. It is actually quite ridiculous that they are so fast moving items from one section to another, but can't pull that shirt. Considering my next move...

Oh, and they have iron cross hankies, how edgy. :/

I'm a bit surprised at grailed since when I complained to them about commenters on their recent Geller "Immigrant" shirt sale spouting white supremacist garbage, they (or so they claimed—I didn't actually verify this) cleaned it up pretty fast. I suppose those commenters weren't items for sale, though, about which they might decide to look the other way. Gotta make that $!

I hated these Margiela boots back in 2009, but now I find them to actually be so bad they are good

No, not the Geller sales, the sales on the shirts with swastikas.

I mean, maybe they have reasons other than "gotta make that $$$." The guys there are great and they started a project with Geller to support the ACLU. I don't know what are their reasons, but without hearing from them, I wouldn't assume they've kept the shirts up just so they can bank a whole $50 from the sales.

Yeah I actually made a comment in that thread, maybe in too passionate of a way, that it seemed ridiculous they would sell those shirts that donate to the alcu and not pull the swastika shirts. It was deleted.

Yeah those are the ones.

Grailed could be so much more with better customer service, support, and an interest in developing a community. Perfect example of a great platform without people to stand behind it, it's like Yahoo Auctions where it just connects people and hopes for the best. For all the hate eBay may receive, whenever I've had a transaction that went south I received above average customer support
