Google is amazing.
At the behest of myself, for copying-and-pasting my B&B post, you're an asshole.
....and at the behest of my self I'm going to say "Zing"!
For the record, and I already PM'ed this guy a response to the above post, I like Rube and the only reason I chimed in was because it rhymed.
yes this was the reason why Luca was killed.
Well, ****, this sucks. I actually thought I had someone on my side there for a second. So, I guess I stand corrected. I guess it's true what they say about this site....the "Style Forum Veterans" all stick together and usually give the cold shoulder to anyone on here that's new, because "newbies" aren't as fashion-savvy and they don't know anything about style, so "as far as we're concerned, they're not exactly welcome in our clique".
You've got this entirely backwards. Connie's husband, Carlo, beat up Connie so that Sonny would come out of hiding and come after him. The plan worked and that's when Sonny was killed. Carlo later revealed this to Michael, who in turn had Carlo killed in the car (remember the scene where he's strangled in the car and he puts his foot through the windshield).
And at the behest of common sense, I'm going to ask how the hell they got a horse's chopped off head into a bed without the director realizing it?
The novel implies that Woltz's employees at his mansion were either threatened or paid off by Corleone henchmen.
Right, that's it, you've been so wronged here. Sheesh.
I had once heard that Woltz's mansion was the historic Rockefeller estate, Pocantico. Anybody know if this true?
