Hi all,
As the subject alludes to, I know that we are bombarded with requests to authenticate Burberry items. The thing is, I just picked up a Burberry overcoat from a great consignment shop near me and it differs substantially from my other Burberry coats. For example, it has a plain black liner and no tag with material info.
I overlooked the peculiarities because frankly, the coat is made well, fits like a glove, drapes nicely and works with or without a jacket. In other words, fake or not, $180 for a great coat made sense. Regardless, I’m still dying to know wha you all think in terms of it being genuine, or identifying when it was made/what model it is.
The pics show a few things:
1) the overall look and fit
2) the lining which is solid black and the sewn tag
3) the washing info found inside an interior pocket
4) the union-made USA tag in another interior pocket.
Looking forward to your feedback!
Thanks,
Mike
