Just received these E.Marinella unfinished pocket squares from the ebay seller. Found someone who was willing to hand roll them for USD3 here, so the total cost spent for each pocket square is USD11. Any ideas guys on how to rock the orange paisley pocket square?

The orange paisley should do well with a solid or textured navy blue tie, no?

Or even a green tie.

Paislies are among my most favorite squares - as you can pull a color out of the many in them to pair up with a tie and still it won't come off as too matchy match. Especially if you use a minor color from the square.

Can't decide between these two...

A bit matchy, but I wanted to go safe...

I like #1 best as it doesn't seem to drag as much attention, but I'm still in doubt. Opinions?

The shirt color is throwing me off. Is it the photo lighting or is the shirt lavender or pink? If so change to a blue or white shirt and then add a white linen square.

It's the lighting, the shirt is actually white. I've always done white linen and wanted to try something different this time...

There's nothing wrong with either, but each seems to have the same colors as the tie. Maybe a wool or linen square with similar or complementary colors would offer a bit more interest.

Seeking inspirational photos of a solid navy hank done right.

What else will you be wearing?

In general, I have found a solid navy to look too much like a mass of color and doesn't work for me. Navy seems to need a contrasting colored border or some pattern. I have a navy and antique white paisley that gets a lot of wear. It is quite versatile year-round.

The color is a bit off (lighting gives it more of a yellow-gold cast than IRL) but you get the idea.
