My concern is the overall look of pleated linen, the wrinkling of the pleats throughout the day, and the loss of shape. If you tell me theres nothing to really be concerned about, then I will get a pair and see for myself.
Thinking about getting a pair, with side tabs, anyone have experience with wrinkled pleats?
if you are worried about loss of shape in any linen item, you are better off not getting linen. You could get some super heavy 18-20oz linen that will stay as pressed as can be expected, but to me that defeats the purpose of linen. The point is to be wrinkled, laid back, a bit insouciant. Maintaining a just pressed shape should not be a goal of wearing linen. You could also look at cotton/linen blends.
that can't be true... is this 700g/m² ? not even tweed is that heavy. leight weight linen is usually 3oz/yard, heavy weight linen is 8oz.700g (22oz). Linen. Pleats. Not hot. Very comfortable. Any questions?
