Gaps raw jeans (discountined) were light and wearable even in humind SE Asia days.


Too bad. Most levi **** as mentioned last year, are also pretty bearable.

Not that you can get them anymore, but SExSC06s are decent for the summer. They're maybe 13 oz., but the "slack weave" denim is relatively breathable.

The cinch-back Edwins I have (I think they call them 505s?) are maybe 11 oz. and are definitely lighter than most of what's in my closet.

I think N&F has a selvage chambray model, too (though not denim, strictly speaking).

edit: I've been wearing the 22 oz. SExDBxSxS jeans all summer in Philly, and I've been fine.

Gap seems to have some super lightweight jeans these days. User reviews on the product page say they feel like pajamas tho :(
