Or even a topy mate. I hate none recessed as they sound bloody awful.
Sadly..not a decent cobbler near by and a pair of Burford and the Paul Smith Stows are already down to the second layer, not to mention the heels on all my footwear.

Leather soles crunching on sidewalk stones already gives me the willies!! A toe plate like that would send me over the top ?
Oddly...even with obvious wear the toe taps rarely make a sound...now heels that's another story.
Even with all their failings leather soles are are much kinder by the end of the day IMHO.... especially in comparison with the Danite or Commando.
Sidewalk stones and grit can be nasty though, best to leave them at home on rainy days.

I really like that suede! When I found out Viberg was releasing a boot in flint I was excited, but then I saw the execution and the shade looks a bit of a dirty grey-brownish...

I guess it depends on the lighting and other colors around. Division even says on their site that it is a "brown-based charcoal" color. They look great in pictures but they are even better in person. I am hoping the bronze unicorn is the same way. Plus the flint suede is so soft and comfortable.

The bronze unicorn is fairly muted, sort of chocolate color. But there are some insane patterns to the grain that I just love. Mine are from the first run DR did about a year and a half ago. Very thick and tough leather, but soft like kudu.
