I just received my International from Bloomingdale's. Thanks for the heads up.
FWIW, mine was made in England.
It's also by far the waxiest feeling, funky smelling wax cotton jacket I've ever got. Tried it on wearing a short sleeve shirt and now my arms feel kind of sticky despite the sleeve lining. For comparison, I've got a couple Belstaffs and a Barbour Beafort wax cotton jackets. None of them were anywhere near as stenchy when new as this thing.
I'm going to need to air this thing out for a while.

ahhh... I remember that feeling (and the smell)...

Quickly dissipates and you'll love it. Glad to hear its an English one.

Aired it out a couple hours on the deck and the smell is noticeably less.
I went and sniffed my Belstaff and the smell is similar, just nowhere near as intense.
I suspect part of the intensity was also due to it being wrapped in plastic in the Bloomingdale's warehouse for who knows how long

You should if you can find one. I know that these were selling out like hot potatoes in the UK. It's such a nice jacket - nice and thick too so it'll be perfect for cooler days and nights.

Well, I missed the boat on the Sports Jacket as J.Crew had one left in small. I instead ordered the Mountain Parka from UnionMade. Should be in on Monday. I better be impressed. :)

I like the sports jacket, it seems like a good light alternative to a leather jacket for rain. Are there any other models in similar light, well fitted waxed cotton?

So I just received an email from Barbour. The To Ki To Sports Jacket is made in Bulgaria. I also recently purchased the waxed down vest which was made in Vietnam. I'm surprised about the To Ki To simply because of the price. Not that I'm bothered, it seems very well made.

Is the chelsea quilted jacket warm enough for the winter? I am thinking of buying one but I want to know that before I buy it.
Thanks in advance

I wouldn't do anything chillier than 40F with the jacket and a sweater. If you have something really heavy underneath you may be able to get away with it. But once it hits below 40F I tend to switch to my top coat.

In the market for an Ashby and in my searches stumbled upon a "discount" site. I'm sure that there are counterfeit Barbour jackets out there and I'm sure there are sites that sell them, but I have to plead ignorance on retailer credibility. Anyone here know if this is a legit site or not?

http://www.orderbarbourjackets.com

It looks a bit sketchy but I have bought legit stuff from worst looking places and it would be nice to save a few bucks. Cheers in advance.

Other than barbour.com if you see barbour in the domain it's going to be shady.

It's been 18 days since my order from NRO, and my jacket hasn't even shipped yet

has anyone else had a similar experience? I'd rather not go to the BBB but they have lied to me over the phone and keep inventing excuses for this delay that don't make sense...
