New cologne discoveries?

thought this might be interestin....if you're reading the forum, you probably stay away from the "avail everywhere" cologne that everyone can find at the local mall. I've found nordstrom and Neiman Marcus to be the best places to find unique stuff, at most price-ranges.

My newest find-- if you have a chance, give Etra by Etro for Men a sniff. Liked it so much I ordered a bottle; very cool stuff and different.

you know, i'm actually not sure how much it was-- i bought two things from NM that time, shipped seperately to me-- long story short, I just don't recall. however, i can tell you it only comes in one size, which will last a person like me for quite a while (probably a normal size for most everyone else)

i don't know how unique this is, but i like l'homme by lanvin. it's a very clean fresh scent without being citrusy or unisex.

I'm way too hyped about Creed's Silver Mountain Water and Imperial.

Bond No. 9's Little Italy is another fragrance of note.

After using Issey Miyake, Burberry Weekend and Bulgari Extreme alternately for years, I finally introduced a new scent to my olfactory wardrobe.....Paul Smith Extreme. I am loving its fresh and citrusy smell.

I recently discovered Carthusia IO. I like it very much

Othere colognes I use is Acqua di Parma and in minor Creed's Erolfa

I also use Carthusia's Io and Acqua di Parma. Carthusia's Mediterraneo is another fabulous citrus scent. For something different in the cooler weather, I wear Yohji Yamomoto. In our house we call it the food perfume--licorice, fig, maybe even a little tobacco seem to figure in the scent. NM used to carry it.

That is the one I thought smelled like old lemon tea... Meditterano. Sorry Philosphe

. For a 'relatively' easy to find cologne that is different, try Lancome's Trophee Lancome (if it is still made). Very nice floral, herbal cologne.

I recently purchased Viloresi's "Yerbamate"

I really like it. I'm not sure how to describe it, however. It doesn't fit into any of the normal categories I'm used to.

My favorite is Belami from Hermes. Masculine scent with leather overtones.

It might be too sweet for some people's tastes, but sexual by Michel Germain is fantastic. It's a very memorable scent.
