1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

6' 5", maybe a good #2 but at age 56, maybe past his prime?

maybe it's just the conspiracy theorist in me, but is it coincidental that stern backed dan gilbert, who was one of the hard-liners in the CBA negotiations, and screwed buss, who was vocal about accommodating the players?
and i agree about the clips ... they'll be a really exciting team to watch this year. and will probably go farther than the spurs.

this is going to be an interesting modern science experiment....kind of like irresistible force meets immovable object.

will Paul's superstar talent finally turn the Clippers around, or will the Clippers' suck rub off on Paul in mass quantities and finally drag him down into purgatory?

    It will be interesting.
I think the Clippers will undoubtedly be better with Paul. However, they won't be the Western Conference or NBA champs that some in LA are now predicting. Not even close. Paul is one of the best PGs ever, but Eric Gordon is no slouch...and with Gordon the Clippers weren't even a play-off team. They're still young and not great on D.

Lakers' starting 5, listed by Mike Brown today:
    1: Fisher
    2. Bryant
    3. Barnes/Walton/Ebanks
    4. Gasol
    5. Bynum

    6. MWP

    Uh huh.

hey, errbody's got holes in their lineup....here's the roster of the odds-on favorites to win the title:

    1. ______
    2. Wade
    3. Lebron
    4. Bosh
    5. Eddy Curry

    6. Haslem
    7. Battier
    8. Miller

maybe Arenas or Baron might want to come run point in Miami Beach.....actually lemme not even joke about that, it might just come true

And how do you list Perkins as 6-10 and Durant 6-9?

I read that rookie PG Norris Cole is looking good and may even beat out Chalmers.
Yeah, Arenas or Davis would not be good.
Eddy Curry at the 5 is not a hole; it's a Grand Canyon. He's going to start over Haslem?

Intriguing. Weren't the Lakers-Wolves discussing Pau for Love + Minn pick last summer? Vujacic's trade exception expires today; I hope the Lakers use it for something.
    Harden.
