Since it is just colored cream and wax...won't the color just rub off or wear off? Or is the leather actually stained from the colored cream.

My experience is that if you rub colored cream into porous leather it will darken even in the creases. Wax (even colored waxes) tend to stay on the surface. In fact, if you darken spots with wax you can go back with cream and rub out the colored wax effect.

Colored wax also seems to "crack" and show creases of the underlying leather color. That is why I only used the colored wax on the toe and heal.

what happened to the westgate? is it a discontinued model from ae?

it looks like it should be a classic model. why doesn't ae do a plain wholecut?
