I'm looking for basic beige and blue cotton chinos from the affordable end of the spectrum, any recommendations? These will be everyday workhorses, I'm not going to maintain a sharp crease or anything, so mainly looking for a semi-casual look and preferably quite anti-wrinkle cloth.

I wholeheartedly recommend Luxire’s Genoa fabrics. Affordable, comfy, wide color selection.

The Electric Blue Chino in the Clearance section is a lighter chino and not wrinkle proof, but affordability-wise nothing else comes close.

I also really like the ripstop fabrics in the Clearance section. Great for some casual pants, but (with the right style details) if you wore them to the office nobody would bat an eye.

Granted, I'd be hard pressed to find a fabric Luxire stocks that I don't like...

When sending in a jacket for replication, how much should one take fabric and style variations into account? I am considering sending quite a soft jacket with 4 % elastane to be used as the basis for a 100 % wool suit jacket (with fairly soft details - no padding in the shoulders and so on).

I think it is not transparent. No lining is suggested.

But, if you wear red color boxers under these trousers and stand in the bright sun, someone with sharp eyes may be able to guess the colors of your boxers.

It is not recommended to send clothing with stretch as measurement sample.
It is better that you give us measurements and we work off that.
