Hi, I've recently made a custom trouser order and asked for permanent creases on the pants. However I've received an image from Luxire and they've actually put a stichtching line along the crease ?? (The order isn't shipped yet). Anyone had a similar experience? I though they were just gonna do the standard machine pressed permanent crease, obviously...

Has anyone give the VBC Wool/Linen blends a try? Breathability wise, how does it compare to fresco or other wool high twists?

Hey Luxire,

How much does it cost to replicate an unconstructed sports jacket? Say, I just bought a pair of flannels pants for 120 euro and I would like a sports jacket in the same material?

The base/start price is $550
We do have jackets in some fabrics discounted to $300

But, it all depends on what you need - in terms of fabric, styling and finish.

I see! Do you happen to have a list on said fabrics being discounted?

I think you'd just hit the "Jackets" option on their site and you see a jacket cheaper than $550, then it's likely on deal. Some fabrics don't have Jacket items on the site, but of course can be made up in Jackets and these would likely start at $550.

You can also search for suits and you'll see their promo suit prices, but as you might expect, all the bells and whistles are a little extra.

It is quite dark :)
Images below.

We do have brown options, which are comparatively lighter. Genoa coffee brown is quite good.

How good is Genoa at holding the crease? I am debating between a tailored flat front trousers and a proper single pleated trouser. Do you think the Genoa is the right fabric for pleated trousers? I'm concerned that it doesn't hold the create as well as other cotton fabrics and thus make the pleated trousers sloppy.

Two new shirts arrived this week:

These are the fabrics I ordered:

Both have and open weave (but not too translucent), making them the ideal summer shirts.

Red Chambray with a well executed one-piece collar (Turner V3, kudos to the designer):

Blue chambray with a modified camp collar (without a button loop, but with buttonhole), straight cuffs, navy buttons and custom breast pockets based on a picture:

Overall I'm very pleased with the prompt execution and delivery.
