For orders placed on the .de website, packets can be sent to the Munich office. From here, we send the garment to India, using Fedex/DHL. Tailoring happens at our central facility in Bangalore, India.

We will possibly be enabling more currencies later this year.
I see, so as a EU customer I conveniently avoid any duties, administration costs etc. that might appear during shipping.

Yes! Buying on Luxire.de is like shopping local.

I live within EU. I was reluctant sending my garment to India - not because I have anything against India but because of the long trip - so I am happy I am able to send them to Germany instead.

Do you sew garments in Germany or what exactly is the difference from sending garments to India?

By the way, the German website only views currency in Euro, is it possible to add other European currencies?
I sent a shirt, then a pair of trousers and a jacket, then an overcoat and finally some fabric to India using DHL and with Luxire's assistance – each time it was very easy and so far I never encountered any problems to be honest... :)

@luxire

Maybe a novice question, but how come some shirts are not availble to create your own style with? For example, this fabric:

I see similair one's on the site, but none looks like this one. Maybe the pictures?

What you have there is the "presto" RTW shirt made of that fabric, therefore you can't customize them........those fabrics are available for customization, just search by fabric description (link for this one below).

All I did was type "monti white on blue stripes" into the luxire.com search bar.

Thank you. They just did not look the same, but that can have to do with how the picture of the fabric is taken.

@luxire I noticed you're calling the dark grey mid grey and vice versa on the 3-ply minnis fresco.
Just want to make sure if I order this fabric, the darker one pictured in the link is the one I'll get?
Also do you have any more than these 3?
minnis.PNG

Edit: Seems this was now corrected, and the mid grey pictures have been switched, the texture and color is now completely different, but looks more correct as fresco so I guess there was a mistake earlier.

I am about to send my pants for replication. I am still thinking if I should make a replication of my pants without amendments OR if I should send my pants for replication including amendments e.g. tapering the legs, increasing back rise or replace belt loops with side adjusters.

I've heard stories here that the pants might be come out wrongly made if I should include amendments during replication. What are your experiences?

I’d replicate first before making alterations but perhaps an easier route is to get those alterations done here and then send those pants in?
