Looking for some hi-top shoes

I'm really liking Spring Courts right now. I'm trying to decide between solid or perforated though.

One can't really go wrong with classic Vans. One can however go wrong with overpriced Vans-"inspired" atrocities by fashion names.

SK8 Highs always look good (well, atleast the classic colorways do).

How are the sizes on the Tretorn stuff, I like some of the basic pairs... I'm an 11 in Converse and a 12 in Nike, what size should I pick up?

Tretorn run true to (sneakers') size, as opposed to Chucks. So, American, I guess.

I quite like the Royal Elastics in all-black. Might get them for the fall, if I can find them at a suitable online retailer.

A buddy of mine just got these YMC zip boots from Blackbird:

I think they're cool, but can never bring myself to buy any sneakers other than Chucks. Just doesn't seem to be worth it. I'd rather save up and get boots.
