Wow, if this was a
boxing[1].gif
they would have stopped it long ago. Three nights in a row and John Stewart is exposing CNBC for what is really is, a network of talking heads and decaboxes that doesn't really know what the markets will do nor do they do any type of investigative journalism.

Cramer is getting it bad...real bad. The joke on the Wall Street is that when Cramer says sell, you buy, and when Cramer says buy, you better sell. Finally someone is putting this fat windbag and his button pushing gimicks in their place.

Note...never try to take on comedians.

Wasn't it Cramer who was also critiqued by some Columbia economists who showed that his investment record (as an actual trade and/or on his show) didn't perform well at all?

I just find him annoying because he yells. He's as loud as Billy Mays.

There use to be a website call booyaboy or something like that which showed all of Cramer's picks and showed how they did days and weeks after a mention on his show. Most would have a Cramer bounce but 3 or 4 days later they would be down.

If you hate Cramer there's CNN footage of his appearance on the Today show where he's watching John Stewart call him out on his Bear buy suggestion in January. He goes from smiling to not smiling...in a most humorous way.

That would be hilarious to see. I'll have to look it up.

Here's a link to the HuffingtonPost where they have a brief story. More importantly they have the entire Comedy Central clip. I love Joe Scarborough's indignation. Dude, Stewart's a comedian. Did you not know that?

As much as I don't like Cramer what is with the hero worship of Jon Stewart? Is it really a shock that you shouldn't get stock tips from talking heads on CNBC? I don't get it.

...but the whole concept of Cramer's show is to help you make money (thus inviting you to take his advice). I think the rant was more on CNBC as a whole rather than just Cramer, but Cramer took it personally. My hero worship goes out to a guy who's calling the entire network out on their inability to truly anticipate what the market will do all while selling viewers on being "the most trusted name in business".

Hero worship? Is that something like "In Cramer we trust?"

This has been pretty LOLz worthy.

What I love about Stewart is if you try to pick a fight with him, he's going to dig up everything you've said. And he won't let it go.
