Just noticed this on my 180’s. I’ve worn them only 4-5 times, always kept with shoe trees and polished with Creme 1925. No rain or any stress that could explain this.

When the shoe flexes it becomes more noticeable (this rupture opens more).

Anything I should do, like glue it back? I guess the seams right below are holding everything together so it’s only cosmetic? Should I even worry?

Very helpful! No, the 6.5D does not hurt the sides of my feet or pinch my toes at all. The only tight area is the instep.

The tightness around the instep is on the far end of the snugness spectrum (i.e., noticeably snug) but also several degrees away from feeling painful.

I’ve been wearing the 6.5D around my apartment the last couple of hours. The instep snugness has dulled a bit…
I’m normally a UK 7.5. I ordered a Weston 180 7E on Mr P. It fits well. I have a slightly wide forefoot.

Very common and nothing to worry, you can glue it back if you want but it might not hold

Looked at Mr Porter yesterday for Weston 180's. I noticed one of the new 180's has different sizing instructions than the other 180's. I ran into this last Fall in France at the main Weston store in Paris. The newly released Taupe suede 180's fit very different than the dark suede 180's I had purchased in the previous year. I wore the dark suede to the shop so the difference in fit was quite clear.

Are any of you finding other new 180's with a different fit from prior year 180's?

All my life I disliked the half hunt derby but since a couple of weeks, I absolutely have to have a pair. I tried them on at their retail store in Lyon and these shoes are absolutely stunning 😬😬
My demi-chasse (half hunt) are one of my favorites. They are a beautiful solid shoe. Perhaps not the slickest last out there but just a great shoe overall. I've put mine through some rough times and theyve stood the test of time for the most part (though
need to get get them into the factory for a resole to include the toe-taps that have been kicked out). The one criticism I might have is that they're so heavy I seem not to get my feet as high off the ground..

What's the difference mentioned in the US site? Mr Porter always indicated 180 are true to UK size.
Which is not, also Mr Porter's sizing advice sometimes is a mess.
