And they are pretty quick with communicating if an item is sold out, which has been the unfortunate case with everything I've wanted thus far.

I've not ordered any clothing recently, but have ordered fountain pens and inks over the past few months, and I can't say Zenmarket's turnaround has declined - generally packaging to shipping quote takes less than 24hrs. The only delays I've had have been the shipping from store to Zenmarket (not something I can blame them for).

Dear readers,

Hello, how are you doing??
The brand we're introducing today is "The North Face Purple Label".

images.php
The North Face is a manufacturer/retailer of high-quality outdoor equipment and outerwear.
It was founded in San Francisco in 1966, and has since helped outdoor athletes and explorers reach a new horizon.
It's even gained popularity among teenagers and college students, and is today one of the world's top manufacturers of outdoor apparel.

The North Face Purple Label is a brand produced by The North Face and nanamica, available exclusively in Japan.
Purple Label never ceases to attract attention from around the world, but the unavailability makes it seem elusive and mysterious to the fans outside Japan.

So what is the difference between The North Face and Purple Label?
In an article on HIGHSNOBIETY, the mastermind of Purple Label, Eiichiro Homma says:
The core value of The North Face is providing the ultimate functions for outdoor sports. ... THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL is modified outdoor clothing with additional modern fashion aspects – creating a high-level mix of style and function
That is, Purple label is more fashion-oriented, without sacrificing any functions for outdoor activities.

Purple Label has released a 2017 Fall/Winter collection.
Let us show some of the items available on the official online store.
*Click the image to view the item.

Field Jacket Red (limited, ¥ 25,920)

fr.jpg

Dear styleforum readers,

When it comes to leather wallets or bags, you cannot choose one without considering brands of world-leading fashion nations.
European countries like Italy and France has dozens of renowned fashionable brands.
If you go for simplicity and toughness, American brands would have the greatest impact.

Japan might not be so famous in the industry. However, made-in-Japan leather goods are most excellent in terms of quality and endurance, as each material is strictly selected and products are carefully manufactured by skilled craftsman.

One of the most splendid manufactures is YUHAKU.
YUHAKU is a designer label established by Tomohiro Nakagaki, leather goods designer and craftsman who learned fitting and designing at a shoes maker and in Tokyo and mastered leather manufacturing under an Italian craftsman.

Since he set up his first private brand in 2006, his products have gaining increasing popularity in Japan by word of mouth.
Yuhaku's products include not only bags and shoes but also wallets and stationary, all of which are creative and sophisticated.

Most impressive about their products are the elegant, beautiful hues that are possible because they are hand-made.

Now, let us share some of their most exquisite goods.

A Bathing Ape: the most iconic street-wear label from Japan

Dear readers,
Happy New Year, everyone! We hope it'll be another wonderful year for you all:)

Let us start this year's posts with one of the most popular Japanese fashion brands.
You'd probably know of this but I hope you'll find something new about it.

- A Bathing Ape (or BAPE) -
A Bathing Ape, which was established in 1993 by Tomoaki Nagao (or Nigo), is the most influential Japanese street-wear brand of all time. A Bathing Ape is ranked as the 2nd both in "The Best Japanese Clothing Brands" ranking on Ranker and in "The 50 Greatest Japanese Brands of All Time" on COMPLEX.

While often featuring collaborations with other fashion brands and famous characters & comic franchises including Hello Kitty, Dragon Ball, Star Wars, etc., BAPE also has its own iconic collections of items such as the SHARK series or CAMO series.

On Japanese online stores, as always, you can find a wider variety of garments by Japanese brands at nicer prices, and BAPE is not an exception.
If you visit the US store from the link below, you can find BAPE's jackets for from $442 to $1,177, but on the Japanese site, men's jackets are from $237 to $695 (¥24,800~72,800 + tax), and there're 7 times the number of items available. (As of 2018/01/06)

>> Japanese Online Store
>> US Online Store

REFLECTION CAMO FOODIE JACKET (below) is among the latest arrivals on BAPE's Japanese store. With special reflective materials printed, the camouflage-patterned hoodie makes you look distinctive in the city light.
