I don't mind moving all that much and I don't mind helping people move unless they suck at packing...you had better be 95% packed when the truck arrives and it better be packed in decent boxes that can stack on top of **** (what is it with girls and thinking that trash bags are gods gift for moving everything?)

If you don't want to buy moving boxes, find a produce store that will give you their apple boxes. Apple boxes are almost perfect for moving. They are big and incredibly sturdy so you can fill them until they are heavy and stack them high without issue.

If all of your **** is packed in relatively uniform boxes, you just carry them to the truck and stack them up around the furniture (which has been broken down where applicable right?).

If you instead use the method of packing that involves finding anything available and cramming **** into it (garbage bags, wastebaskets, shopping bags, random boxes with stuff sticking out because it can't fit into the closed box, etc), you will have to carry all of these small awkward loads and figure out how to fit them into the truck Tetris-style.

Big +1... I judge back packers. Luggage and moving packing.
