What does this have to do with horses?
That's the first thing that came to my mind also.The title should have been:
Is going sockless the Castrato of men's fashion?

the picture posted in the first page just killed me. A blazer with shorts!?!!?!
I wear shorts a fair amount and have looked for ways of improving the look. SF seems to advocate a loafer sockless look, and also the wearing of pants and dress shoes sockless. I frequently survey the population when I am out and about, and out of 500+ men in shorts, none have been in loafers. It looks simply wrong to me. Similarly pictures of men in slacks and leather shoes sin socks is an affront to nature , IMO. I think what bothers me is that this is a distinctly female style. Women are always wearing nice leather shoes without socks, and it looks great. So why this push to feminize mens fashion? Your thoughts?
khaki shorts or madras with black beef roll loafers, sockless, used to be a standard look. check out Take Ivy. and call off the gender police.
