Threadjack...

Looking for a nice warm parka under $250. Not into fur so much but it's not a deal killer. Also open to duffels or anything else that's warm, hooded, comfy and is at least long enough to keep ****** warm. Gotta be available in XS. Any ideas?

uniqlo has a bunch of **** for under $150. Some parkas, some duffles, peacoats, puffers, etc... Then again, you have to be in nyc. I don't have any but i've seen a bunch of solid stuff. Wear a thermal and a sweater and you're set. I mean, if you want a jacket that is good enough to keep you toasty with just a normal tshirt in sub-zero, then that's a different thing.

Hell, i wore a medium weight h&m canvas parka with a thermal, and sweatshirt and i was fine even when weather.com said it was 2degrees. Gloves, warm socks and a beanie go a long way too

Cheap Monday Daniel Parka

Don't know if this helps, but I lucked out today (it's boxing day in Canada) and got this marked down to about $100. It's warm, fur-less, the hood is huge and nice, and very long. I like it because I'm a skinny guy and the small fit me like a glove without making me look like I'm drowning in it, which so often happens with parkas.

I think you can still find it online and will probably be marked down soon.

Just go to J.Crew and try on some of their heavier jackets. You don't need a coat. Layer with sweater if it gets cold. I'd stray away form Filson stuff, demographic is more 45+ affluent hunter/fisher types (bags being the exception).
