I have been invited to a pre X-mas dinner in two weeks, Dec 10 -12 at my brother's wife's mothers house and I was wondering what should I pack for the three day trip. I have been there before but not for three days straight, I usually go to golf and come home the same day. It is a small town. I don't want to bring more than I need to, but at the same time, I don't want to get caught short either. What are the must bring items?

Is the small town in Canada (as opposed to, say, Connecticut)? I'd take a couple of sweaters, and a blazer and tie to be safe. Throw in some nice dress pants and you should have all possibilities covered.

Oh man, I couldn't help it. I didn't post or even read all morning, other than looking for information on hand washing shirts. I got my first MTM shirt the other day (from Raja) and want to get into good habits. As for the Styleforum habit....

Thanks everyone. Johnw86, yes the small town is in Canada.

I wish I could bring my clubs, but the course is covered in snow. Wait a minute, I'm tiger woods I can play anywhere...
