wine, that is? I finally figured out how to do it (not like gargling mouthwash) and I'm obsessed with getting the little wiff of odor/flavor I dont seem to get just smelling from the wineglass or directly swallowing. OF course, I only do so when drinking wine on my own or out of earshot when with others.

Now as I'm not a wine afficionado (yet) feel free to let me know what I'm observing is utter bullshit.

You're not nuts. I don't gargle, per se, but I do get a little aeration going on with the first sip of every bottle (whomever is around, its not loud) and at anytime thereafter that I feel like it.
