Coho i've read a few of your posts, you don't strike me as very nihilistic.

that's because I am longer a nihilist. Change of heart. In fact, I don't think I'm much of anything right now. I am at the point where I am open to opinions, and through my own reflection, find truth.

Just curious, why are you attracted to nihilism?

Well, I haven't read too deeply into philosophy so maybe i'm not 100% clear on the precise definition, but based on a glance of wikipedia it seems to be the philosophy that is most in tune with the way i look at the world and everything around me. So, it's not so much whether i'm attracted to it, as it is a description that nails the way I happen to be.

I'm not sure any philosophy gets everything wrong. They generally have some piece of the pie. The best part of existentialism, imho, is the thought that for humans existence comes essence. Thus, we can choose who we will be. This can lead to nihilism, but it is also quite compatible with Aristotle, particularly his views on acts leading to habits and habits forming character. For both, human beings are to some degree responsible for who/what they become.

You've got to have the questions before the answers, the doubt before real certainty, and perhaps the darkness before the light. The problem is when we love the question, the doubt, and the darkness too much.
