50k in 6:29:45 (~45 mins faster than last year). Last climb took a lot out of me but still managed a strong (ish) finish. Hip is at me a bit but not unexpected given the beating I gave it today.

I'm on a down week cycle so just putting in couple miles a day but got in 6 yesterday on some flat land. 7:12/mi which is nice considering I haven't done any speed work in a while. I'd love to be able to get a sub-1:30 half at some point.

Oh and I did sign up for a trail half marathon. A fun race before the baby gets here in April.

4 miles yesterday and 8.5 today... both at super easy pace. Legs are feeling about 85%. Expect I'll be 100% for the SOB5050 this weekend.

Also, I've hopped back on the GPS watch / Strava bandwagon in hopes that it'll help me train a bit more seriously for a 100M. These gadgets sure have come a long way since last I owned one... really impressed with the Garmin FR 235 so far.

I have been tracking my miles with my watch and using Strava in 2016. Hopefully it is positive on your workouts and not bringing you down for not hitting targets. It seems like it could be the case as I have felt it already this year.

I got in 5.1 miles yesterday with the intent on running trails tonight. My big weekend plans of some longer run in parks a little ways away have been changed due to a "Honey Do" list. I am the cause of some of those items too....

3.1 at a decent pace. Ran with colleagues, one of whom started with the company today. I confess to being surprised that he would bring running gear on his first day of work.
