@Typiper I like what you're going for here. The gray tone thing is kinda cool sometimes and you're almost there in terms of your color and pattern matching. As it stands the trousers look too close in shade to the jacket. You'll want to try for more contrast. That could most easily be accomplished by going darker with the trousers but be careful, you don't want your trousers and your tie to match in color. The pocket square is out of place and needs to be removed. Try a plain white square that is in keeping with the rest of the outfit. Watch those shirt sleeves. They are probably too short if they creep up inside the jacket sleeves like that. It's hard to get a sense of fit other than with the shirt sleeves so I won't comment on that. All in all, not bad.

Thank you for the advice. I had a feeling that the pants were too close in shade to the jacket. I will pursue a more charcoal-ish pant. After looking at it following your advice, I completely agree with the square being out of place. Thank you again!

Hard to go wrong with either. Hillcrest, assuming no severe changes since I last lived in SD, is pretty great. Very vibrant, and people are shockingly (read: basically normal outside of LA and NYC) nice.

San Diego is my favorite U.S. city next to Charleston. Amazing weather and peeps.

It's a wool/silk Drake's from a few years ago. You might be able to find one somewhere. There was blue figures/border version too that the artist formerly known as @Murlsquirl had. It's hard to find one that has this density of color on a cream base but it makes it probably the most versatile square I own. Good luck!

Thanks, jc. That really is on the money. I can see how it could work with a myriad of fits.
