Wearing my Dupioni Silk jacket today. Cloth from Holland & Sherry.

It's a great spring/summer weight cloth in my humble opinion. As a jacket it drapes better than your average w/s/l mix but definitely not stiff in any sense.

Saw Simon sharing his dupioni silk jacket in his latest PS post. My jacket is from the same bunch but there is seemingly more luster on his cloth than mine.

Lighting? Color? Or the Simon Crompton effect?

I may be in NYC next week. Can I invite you for coffee and browsing some oxfords?
Kind of a crazy week for me next week, but I’d like that a lot. I know a great place for coffee. They put burning loafers on each table instead of candles.

I scrolled through the photos with growing trepidation, knowing there would be a monster at the end of this book. Lo, the Dread Bit Loafer. :)
Well put. A good start for your upcoming YA novel: The Dread Bit Loafer and the Sugarbutch Kid. You're like the sartorial RL Stine.
