The colors don't appear to blend well in my opinion. What color is the shirt? I hope it is not purple. The pants look relaxed which is hard to find these days. Where are the from?

The shirt is lavender, so a shade of purple. The pants are Lands End (traditional fit).

I’ll say that I think the whole “back blade longer than front blade” is far worse than any knot could ever be. So if a triple FIH prevents it, then I love that knot.

I agree about the back blade issue. At this point it's an obvious try hard sprezzatura thing more than anything else. The problem I see with it mostly is that it's the only "care free" thing about the whole outfit so it just looks like a mistake more than anything.

It's not strictly a sprezzatura thing. In some cases it's a function of modern ties not being suitable for high-rise trousers.
