1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Winter whites. Or the cut off head portrait. Prior to the Christmas concert at the concert hall we snapped a few family photos. I am wearing my new @Luxire flannels in 360 gram flannels from vitalebarberiscanonico1663. Warm and a great complement to the varieties of grey I normally wear. Worn with my beloved brown houndstooth cashmere jacket from Sartoria partenopea and an OCBD from Shirtonomy and a cashmere tie from HN White. Shoes are single monks from the C&J Handgrade collection.

A pina barong, not today but Saturday for a cousin's wedding:

I started a thread on barongs and Philippine dress in general a few years ago, but I let my imageshack account lapse and the pics disappeared. I'll try to load them again. If anyone wants to contribute to it, please do.

Beautiful knot (and tie, and jacket, and square). Is that Cappelli?

I think both fits are great but, if it were me, I might flip flop the adjectives. [IMG]

From last week, but I decided to take inspiration from Mark Cho's outfit from the Armoury's Fall editorial, right down to the ivy jacket.

You can read more about it on my blog! I'm not trying to kick the work and quality of bespoke garments (like an Ivy style one from Tailor Caid), but I just want to show that you can definitely get amazing pieces with the details you like at an affordable price! The jacket is vintage, purhcased on eBay, and the trousers are Polo RL that I got while thrifting!

@sebastian mcfox great tie there. Much more subdued than I would have thought from website pics.

Crusty, I happen to walk by you in Grand Central Station on Saturday evening. Very sharp! After you passed by, my ladyfriend (who is not into clothes and certainly does not know about your celebrity here) remarked how dapper you looked.

Thank you, Bry2000. Your sighting of me is proof that timing is everything - my husband and I traversed the main hall of Grand Central only in transit either to or from the Yale Club, and were not at ground level there for more than a couple of minutes on either occasion. Next time, identify yourself and say hello - I don't bite, usually :).

Interesting...Is it the jacket? Hard not to see the burnt orange as impetuous. So, maybe impetuous across the board? [IMG]
