In the office for a time yesterday and then out into the teeth of 'Storm Angus'. Not so severe here on the eastern side of England but dull, wet and wild.

Green with Rust, thanks for the suggestions. Really enjoying this tweed. My images are blown out for some reason today. Also really digging these fawn flannels they are a welcome addition to the standard Gray.

I read somewhere that back in the days when all men wore 3-piece, the buttons usually were one the outside of the waistband. With hotter offices and no more need for waistcoat, the buttons crawled to the inside.

    Good morning,

Finals is upon me.. Such a wonderful assortment of fits the past few days guys. Really nice.

One of my last 'slim' suits (slowly trying to replace them with similar items) as evident by the tight trousers and short jacket length.

New shirt. 2nd foray into taking full body photos, have not yet mastered the lighting problem. Hope you enjoy.

    Thank you sir!

As for the brand, I'm not sure. I had bought this suit over at the Philippines before I had moved to the US.

I think it looks quite nice and doesn't have any of the negatives that come with a slim suit like hugo boss, etc. Coat may be a bit tight, but length is fine and at least the lapels are wide enough. Trou may be narrow, but if you have legs that can comfortably fit them, more power to you.

    Thanks again!

Yeah, I will agree that I am quite happy that this suit actually had wide lapels and a slimmer cut when I bought it at the time. I concur with the jacket being tight too. To be honest-- I'm considering on having the trousers let out just a wee bit to eliminate the wrinkling you see at the bottoms. Funny enough, in the PH, this suit had tons of extra material for me to play around with. It's just with having such big thighs, slim fits usually give me problems; that's why I try to avoid the super slims. Thanks for your input hey, the jacket length on this bloody thing has been bothering me for quite some time now.

Look at Spandexter's suit in the post above yours - the length is quite short too, shorter than even yours. While it would bother me too, it still looks great all together as an ensemble. And his trou are slim. I'm sure yours would look ask good too in better lighting :p

I think your trou are fine. I have lean legs with large thighs as well, so I know the struggle. Six above has my ideal trouser fit. Maybe save the $ for some grub at The Black Pearl in Edmonton if you're ever in that area?

Six, is that Formosa or Steed? I'm gonna pull the trigger next time they're in SF

Thanks! I'm a fan of grey and green.
Thanks! That one is Formosa (Lesser birdseye). The navy I posted yesterday is Steed MTM, although I've switched to their 3r2 pattern now that they offer it and widened the lapels on more recent orders. The Steed MTM trousers are a bit roomier than Formosa, and the rise is higher.

Awesome. can you please PM me a pic of the recent one with 3-roll-2 and the wider lapels? That's exactly what I'm talking with Matthew about. Awesome!!!

How much roomier are they in the seat, thigh, knee and calf? I plan on asking them in person how much room for change their is.
