I realized as well that the pocket square and tie combo was too close after looking at the picture. The tie knot is a four in hand and being that the tie is woven it has a healthier knot but not disproportionate in real life. I can't get a full shot that shows the colors but here's a close up of the textures together.

I don't mind bigger knots, as long as the width is in proportion to the length and it works with the collar size, lapel width and the wearer's head.

One step at a time. We finally got him to take the suit out of its plastic and actually wear it outside. Now, we'll have to slowly convince him that it isn't necessary to keep his pockets sewn shot.

Also, Noodles, selfie pro-tip: Just stand naturally, as you do in real life. It is possible to do a good robo-pose, but it takes practice (it also helps to spend a good amount of time at a tailors in front of a mirror...basically the way the tailor instructs you to stand is the way you want to do a good robo-pose). And a robo-pose is rarely appropriate for outside shots, which really do scream for something a bit more natural.

Anyway, how does it feel to finally wear that jacket out and about?

I wanted to do a natural pose but I gotta get more comfortable with this suit. I feel great about making a good progress by FINALLY putting 2 suits to work. I feel like I am back on track and I think I can pursue filling in the gaps by getting additional suits. Any recommendation on the next suit, other than charcoal grey?

TV fold P.S. will be incorporated

Ah, yes, I thought those pants were that tan. I really like this.

PS doesn't bother me particularly.

could noodles pants use less break at the hem?

Are those slanted pant cuffs?

Or is it just the stance that's causing the pant leg to fall not straight in pic 2?

I want to shorten it a bit and taper the pants. I was leaning to one side so I think that is why it seems uneven.

Wow all that advice has paid off!

@EliodA beautiful tie + Snap! I'm wearing identical shoes today. Oxford short-wings in a burgundy-brown with a medallion

:embar: Thank you all for the thumb ups and compliments. Now, if only I can do that 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
