The thing that keeps screwing me up about your outfits is that my eyes can't focus. You have the oddly knotted tie that hangs to the side, the white buttons, the flying away pocket square, and then many times the narrow blade longer than wide blade thing. Are you wearing 4 bracelets and crazy socks too? It's a lot to process. Where are you wearing this again? Maybe that will make me figure it out. I get what you're trying to do, I just hope you're not doing it in a CPA office or somewhere like that.

Thanks for pointing this out. I agree and I couldn't put my finger on it either. I think better pictures would help too. I get my fair share of suggestions and criticism, which i really like learning from, so please don't take this the wrong way Southernstyle, but I think you would benefit from recreating a movement from last fall in this thread. The "Tone it the **** down day" movement. I just get the sense you have alot of cool pieces and toss them together in a unique way, but it really makes it hard to follow your outfit sometimes. I learned a while back that having some grounding elements (a solid tie, shirt, sock etc.) is better than having a pattern and color explosion everywhere. I would be interested to see where you are wearing this too. If it is just for fun, go for it I guess. But I can't help but think you could refine your unique taste and courage to wear interesting colors and styles into something more cohesive and exceptional!

Tough to tell from the pic but the suit is a glen plaid pattern. The tie is from Vineyard Vines and has thin silk. To achieve the correct length I need to tie a full windsor.
