^ very nice jacket holdfast, what are the details on the fabric?

Thanks. I don't remember the cloth number, but I'm 99% sure it's from Porter & Harding's Glorious Twelfth book. Very easy-to-wear fabric weight for the local climate as it's light enough for most days of a southern English summer but also works fine on a not-too-cold winter day like today when paired with an overcoat & scarf. Doesn't really have the character of a proper tweed, but the year-round versatility makes up for that, at least somewhat.

That's a great outfit! I love the combination. Details on the tie, please?

Thank you! The tie is from Loro Piana. I'm not usually much of a brown tie fan, but this one had just the right shade of brown - and pattern - to appeal to me.

(EDIT - beaten to the reply punch, I see. Must type faster....! :) )

Looks a bit like a Loro Piana

I would like some feedback from some ties. Which of these two ties do you like more? I am planning on giving it to someone as a gift so I wanted to get a third-persons view.

Regency Tie

St. James

Thanks all!

I like the scale of the first one better, but I generally think ties with a horizontal/vertical pattern looks bad. Diaganol always looks better.

I feel like I'm just learning the ropes here and the picture quality isn't the best, but I would appreciate any feedback you guys may have:

Casual today. What does everyone think about this fit? Also, don't mind the shirt, its brand new so the collar will settle after a few more minutes of wear. The colors are slightly off, but you get the idea.
