@saurabh: very nice. What color is the GG pair next to the cherry? Is that cedar?
Far from cedar. This must have taken hours to achieve and a lot of skill. It must be one of their patina services though I don't know the name of the specific color. Whoever is doing G&G's patina work are real pros. There are a lot of impostors on the internet (IG etc) who think they are patina experts but they are just not. Maybe in their next life they will be.
@saurabh: How much does the patina service cost and can you show them any pic of a shoe and they can do it for you?
They are nice. Not ostentatious at all but different enough to stand out from the crowd in a good way.The fact that someone 1. noticed them and went out fo their way to ask, while at the same time 2. they thought that it was cedar or cherry is a good case in point.yes, you are right it’s not cherry or cedar.
Both must have taken lot of time for Neus at G&G.
that’s Coronation Red Patina and Corthay Vieux Bios patina (shoes are G&G though).
Corthay Vieux bios was a special request from my side and they were able to do it.
I think it was £125-£150 extra for Patina don’t remember on top of my head right now.
Darn you. Thats my size.If anyone is an 11E in the MH71 there’s a pair of Derwent’s on RealReal in grain that look like practically new sub-$300 https://www.therealreal.com/products/men/shoes/oxfords/gaziano-girling-leather-derby-shoes-707h8
