Biarritz - from Barney's Warehouse sale..

Thanks to all for help decoding the Barney's sizing.

I can confirm that what Barney's sells as a US 11, (and on their sizing chart says UK10) is in fact a UK 10.5 - and is marked as such by G&G on the box. The Barney's sticker just says US11. It is just their online size chart that does not use actual UK sizing.

Fabulous shoes that break in beautifully....I hope you enjoy them. I do.

Also, they look a little blah when new but a regime of Saphir Reno, cream and wax brings them to life.

This is vintage cedar...I used cognac on the sides and top.....medium brown on the toes and the instep band...curious to see if I can get some kind of nice effect. The lighting really sucks but you should get some idea.

G&G is now available online from Khaki's of Carmel. Check out their brand new e-commerce site at:

http://khakisofcarmel.com/shop/shoes.html

Khaki's has repriced their G&G's. Prices also include the lasted and sized shoe trees. The prices are now comparable to the other dealers including shoe trees.

By the way, don't G&G offer some of the best shoe trees? They are beautiful.

Thanks for the heads up. Now they need to work on their AS pricing. Lol

Just the AS prices on KoC are around a couple hundred more than other US distributors (e.g., Leffot). Anyway, I didn't mean to detract from G&G. :)

Have to save up for another pair.

I might have to drive out to Carmel while I'm here in Norcal

Good idea. It is absolutely beautiful along the coast right now. I just returned from camping in Big Sur. This, IMO, is the best time of year to be in the Carmel/Big Sur area. Mild weather and it isn't crowded. I stopped in at Khaki's. They have a ton of new things in for Spring and even more shoes arriving soon.
