What are people's thoughts on suede arrans? Are they a year round boot? or no? I have a leather one, which I almost exclusively wear in the fall/winter. Not sure if 650 on Mr. P. is a good price, however, given that I am in no rush to add more shoes to my closet. Might send it back. Thoughts? I kinda wish I had gone in on that Mr. Porter sale where they had 50% off stock shoes. Oh well.

Yes, they are absolutely a year-round boot. Suede is easy to maintain.

Curious if anyone has received their orders that were delayed 6-8 weeks due to lack of stock. I inquired on the status of my order given that 10 weeks has now passed since the order was placed and 8 weeks since I was told the shoes needed to be made due to lack of stock. I was informed it would be another 2-3 weeks.

While I have no choice but to wait the last 2-3 weeks, it is frustrating to be told 6-8 weeks only to learn that it will now be 2-3 weeks more until they're shipped. All told, it will have taken over 3 months to receive the order. Guess GG really misjudged the demand and their ability to fulfill orders especially for ones that weren't in stock although maybe others have already received their orders...

If they are making shoe for you then it will take four month & some times four month & few week. Just email or call them & they will tell you were your order is & when it’s going to be done. I got my thorp boot two days ago. I called them to find out when it’s getting done. That’s all you can do, only other option is to cancel your order if your shoes are ready to wear. And I am sure they will accommodate you.
