Thank you very much for the reply. I actually noticed that my right feet is a bit longer than my left (right feet touching the end of the shoe but never the left one, in Carmina Simpson 10.5 UK), but never thought about its width.

By going down a width, what exactly would you recommend? Does that mean going rather 11D UK instead 11E UK or taking different widths for each feet?

I got my Arran Chukka size 8.5 E from MrPorter sale. But unfortunately they are too big for my feet and don't know why. I have many boots same size but which fit me more snug and perfect so I have already send them back for refund.

I'm no expert on GG though I do own one pair
Just came across these spectators in a thrift shop - any idea what model they are? TG73 last perhaps?
No written info inside though only lightly worn

Awesome shoes, I hope if they fit, you purchased them! First guess is MTO Rothschilds (the extra broguing and second set of "wings" give it away) with black and vintage cherry calf spectator setup, on a TG-73 last. It should be written on the inside of the tongue, though that may have worn out.

Had a pr of these in D and they fit well (I wear E in most G&G). Just bought a pr like yours and am trying to decide if they're too wide. Haven't been able to give them a good try due to surgery, but I'm thinking they may have to go back, like @saurabh notes.

You'd have to go bespoke to get different widths, I think. Better to fit the larger foot and try to make up the difference in the smaller with extra socks, orthotics, inserts, or something. Good luck.

If you decide to keep them I suggest using some edge dressing--looks a bit sloppy and incomplete

Glad you brought that up! Thought I was losing my mind, and that G&G had some sort of 'distressed' edge dressing, haha. Glad it wasn't just me.

Yeah it looks pretty bad for a shoe of that price. It's an easy fix though--make sure you use the right color!

My G&G's from Mr Porter had some scratches on the welts as well (and some veiny spots in the leather) so I'm not sure if it's a vendor thing or perhaps people were careless previously tried on? I got mine on the sale so I can't complain at the price point for a scratch or two.

Yes I bought them for sure!
Thanks for your reply. They really are stunning and in great condition barely worn. I don't believe the numbers could have worn off - the inside of tongue is totally clean - I have other GG shoes worn a lot and still numbers perfectly intact.
It seems likely these are MTO so wondering do they always come with all the details inside the tongue?
As for size I have once tried TG 73 in a similar style and 11e UK didn't work for me - too narrow. These feel just the same so I'd guess 10.5-11 maybe D or E UK.
I currently for reference, have a pair of Wellings derbies 10.5F fit me firmly but perfectly.
I think this pair is mighty nice but just too obviously narrow for me to wear with comfort, so I'll be listing them here and / or eBay
Thanks for your kind help GG experts cheers!
