Now I need to think about whether or not I'll push the season and wear madder...
Funny, I happened to wear a lilac tie today purely by happenstance. I'll probably think of something else before Friday, but it's good to have an early banker available in case I don't feel inspired later in the week. Interesting theme, Clags.
My entry, a day early, as I'll be casual tomorrow, in anticipation of getting on a plane for several hours, heading west to Vancouver.
Note that the footwear in this picture was expressly chosen at the suggestion of Claghorn.
My entry for the challenge
Close up pic to show the true color (hopefully)
Off My Rack, you might want to consider taking another picture or adjusting the color balance of that one so that it actually looks like it's purple.
Quote:I'm at the office with terrible reception on my cell. I'll post a close-up of the tie once my phone decides to work properly again...
Will try to take another close-up shot showing the shirt, tie and jacket later. The shirt is a sky blue and white bengal stripe.
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
Edited to add a close-up picture and spoiler a couple shots.
X post from WAYWRN. Got dressed up for the Friday challenge.
Draw a line, cowboy...
Probably could have been pushed a little bit more into blue.
AAS: Fun touch with the socks.
Forgot about this tie. It's less, um, vibrant than the tie I mentioned yesterday
Oooof, shugz, toeing the line there. I'll leave it up to the voters.
So far, ArchibaldLeach, AAS, Holdfast--the lazy bastard still needs to post that fit here--are the most clearly purple posters. The rest of us seem to be huddling on the fringes.
Does my update not fall in the realm of clearly purple? From close up, that's about as purple as things can get, right?
The close-up shows your tie to be clearly purple.
As for mine, the color balance is shifted a bit warm. Let me see what I can do...
EDIT: Flapdoodle. I've replaced the original pic with one that's closer, but it's not really capturing the essence of the tie. Maybe I'll try with the other purple tie tomorrow.
