I just received my Howard yount pants in size 36, they fit great except they're almost too slim through the leg (I have size 34 pants that are wider through the thigh.) I'm just curious how Panta fits in this regard and if it would me trying the on for size. Are they slimmer, the same, or looser? Otherwise the Howard Yount pants are perfect.

If i recall correctly, the HY pants are a bit slimmer through the thigh. And the Panta's have a higher rise, and more fabric in the seat\\groin area as far as i've experienced.

You must have buff legs. I think the Eu 52 HY trousers, while slim fitting, are not overly so. Pants drape and fit well standing. Sitting, I can see how the material is snug across the thighs. DOn't have Pantas just yet, but will be ordering soon.

comparing measurements is very limiting because it really depends on certain cut lines and so forth ; even with same exact technical measurements , seams can fall into different places slightly affecting overall look and so forth.

take for instance jeans. you go to Blue in Green, and for all the makes like Samurai, Pure blue japan, somet, skull, etc

they all pretty much have the same specs. but the cut /aesethetic is overall very different. samurai has its distinct look. pbj has its distinct tlook . so forth

x2. I also size up to a 36 and the thigh area is tight. I love them from the knee down. Maybe its time to ease up in the squat rack...
