City are a bit of a minefield as to who's going to start over the next couple of weeks but Aguero looks so tempting for the season...

to be honest Chelsea, Liverpool, ManU aren't a lot better...

I've got Toure and Silva in my team, and I was a bit hesitant to invest so many points in Man City's midfield, but they're both so dynamic and probably the two first names on the team sheet each week that I think I should be OK.

Just checked my team. Normally use Yahoo so the scoring in so messed up for me. I'm in the top 5% in Yahoo and only midtable in this league. Anybody have the link for the scoring guide?

    Edit I guess I'm 6th, 59 points just seems a bit low.

Silva gets the spot kicks which is a huge plus (at least for Yahoo scoring). Both are solid picks though. I figure with city you know kompany will always start with Silva/Toure/Nasri/Kun. After that I think its when the selection comes into play. As for Man Utd. Vidic/Rooney are pretty much the only for sure picks, although you know Park will start in every big game of the season. Liverpool you figure Adam is a lock, the rest are a bit questionable.

No concerns that the rrival of Nasri might shake things up in the midfield?

    4

For a clean sheet by a midfielder

    1

For every 3 shot saves by a goalkeeper

    1

    For each penalty save

    5

    For each penalty miss

    -2

Bonus points for the best players in a match

    1-3

For every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender

    -1

Not really. The move is far from certain, Silva is a better player than Nasri, and Toure is in there doing a completely different job.

Thanks for the info. A bit too many points to just playing though eh?

2 weeks, 2 red cards. Was going to transfer for Ramsey (win) got rid of Jose Enrique (lose). Adam could definitely have done more as well, he's being kept pretty far back

Man I am getting trounced this year. Two weeks, two low scorelines. City still have to play, which includes my keeper, but ugh.

Same here.... Saturday didn't look too good and I am sliding a bit in the table (fairly close to the bottom now) but my 10 points was from only 4 players. I have 7 players to go including my captain Young (Man U) and three Man C players, hope to recover some lost ground after the round is finished.

For picking Torres as captain MoK, you are doing very well in the fantasy league this year again!

However, AFC Sly is running away in the top... 25 points from 4 players including 18 from Bent!! Must be a genius manager.

Not sure why Clichy/Zamora didn't start, but I'm not going to complain much since my top 2 subs got 6 pts each. A measly 34 pts for the week, how exciting!

Also, I only just realized I don't have any ManU players, was wondering which top team I was missing.

Picking up Jarvis and Fletcher from Wolves (a team I don't usually support or even pay attention to) has really helped expand the versatility of my team.

Am I the only one with Simpson (cleansheet) and DeLaet (goal) sitting on my bench? :embar:

I dropped Jarvis and have Davies on my bench =/

EDIT: And I had Ryan Taylor on the bench.

I love that the top 3 defenders by score are currently all under 5.0 million pounds
