They hardly flourished in the double gameweek (selling Vidic to buy Hart and Kolorov was not a good move on my part). I think the points might come from the relegation battles this week, but then I thought VdV was going to do something last week...

Woot, Odemwingie, Van Persie, Adam all flourished this week. A pity my 2 transfers (and subsequent 4 pt hit) did nothing but get their 90 min.

Yes, I have the same hopes for Man C with Yaya and Zabaleta to play Tuesday evening and I am still hoping to add more points this round.

I am not yet completely safe in the other league I am part of - my 2071 is there threatened by 2nd place at 2038 and 3rd place at 2035. 2nd place has no players on Tuesday and 3rd place has only Yaya.

For either of them to catch me in the last round, they will need un-orthodox captain selections and some kind of perfect storm.

I think 2nd place is pretty secure... Now do I try something audacious to try and gain 47 points more than 2nd and seriously risk my 3rd place or should I be sensible?

No guts, no glory. Then again, I'd be +8 and sitting much more comfortably in 6th (still not enough to hold off Arabian Goggles) if not for the Van der Vaart trade decision

Yes I traded out VdV last week too

I banked on Liverpool maintaining their form

Lousy defence too (only 2 of my five defenders had pitch time, and both let in goals...)

A combination of the two.

Seriously, I think the gap to 2nd place is a bit too big for a round where no team has double games. I would not take 4 point penalties for meddling with a team as strong as yours.
