It's tight for that last champions league spot only 11 points between 4th and 8th

Picking a captain is a challenge this week. Thinking Odemwingie (4 goals in 5 games) or Van Persie (5 goals in 6). That or stick with Malouda now that he's back in form

Tough choice indeed. All three are fairly inconsistent, and two of those are potential captains for me as well. My third being Kuyt, who has been on fire lately. I'll go with Malouda this week I think. Chelsea is really stepping it up lately and Malouda is playing a big part of that. Speaking of Chelsea, beyond all the Torres is a traitor talk, I'm rooting for him to have a good end to the season. Would be an insane turn of fate if Chelsea trumped United to the title.

Picking the right captain really makes a big difference. I had another lucky pick in Suarez who gave me 24 points this week, the rest of my team was pretty mediocre. Next round sees Man City and Spurs twice and I only have one player from those two teams, time to dip into the transfer market.

Tell me about it; Huth, Baines, Odemwingie, and Van Persie would all have been better choices for my captaincy. Also, Al-Habsi gets 10 pts and Hart 2

Got pushed out of 4th seat by someone who has far too many Reds players

Worst thing was, I wanted to change my captain Saturday morning, but they were doing maintenance and I wasn't able to get it in in time

I'll be very happy if I hold on to 3rd place...

Next weeks matches suggest a dearth of cleansheets. Going to be a tricky one...

Had a pretty decent last week thanks mostly to Kuyt and Suarez, but made some changes for the upcoming fixtures:

Interesting - you don't think Cahill might have a better chance of a cleansheet than Huth/Luiz, and maybe as much attacking potential?

I was considering swapping out Luiz for Cahill. Still up in the air really - I expect Chelsea to concede but I expect Bolton to concede often as well. Both Cahill and Luiz can score goals... hmmm Not like my decisions matter - my guys are a mid-table team now.

Would just be nice to have one more good week.

I guess I'm far too late to join the SF league now. But it's great looking back at the start of this thread and seeing people's starting XI teamsheets! Gomes in goal... Foolish.
