1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think you've done well. Surely better than me. We'll see our league standing soon. :)

35 with Lescott to play. Don't forget that this year Bonus points aren't awarded until after the last match of the week (obviously that's where I'm going to turn a low scoring week into something respectable) ;)

I've got lots of points sitting on my bench (Simpson, Given cleansheets) :(

There are a few issues with the EPL site at the moment which I've been promised will be resolved shortly...

Miserable week for me!! Ugh! Still many weeks left to go, though.

It hurts me to see Simpson sitting on my bench with 6 points instead of Clark, who played something like 15 minutes for Villa and got me one single point :(

Obviously If I'd known about this in advance I'd have picked a far better team for the opening gameweek ;)

Bonus points are starting to be added too...

If Hart keeps a clean sheet (shouldn't be much trouble), I may well end up with a decent finish after all (this after starting the morning at 30pts with subs and only Hart to play)

WHOA - nvm previous post. Just saw I'm at 38 points on the week with a striker, midfielder, and two starting defenders out of commission (aka me not staying up on who was starting this week).:slayer:

What a joke. Can you imagine if this happened in the middle of the year? It undoes the good work. If anything, these problems should encourage users not to wait until the last day to set their teams. Now we can simply reset our teams. That just isn’t right.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT following FPL site problems

Along with the FPL now giving free transfers up until the start of GW2, league administrators have the choice to re-start the league from GW2 so that scores from GW1 are excluded. If the majority of players would like the league to start from GW2 I will do so, but I would prefer to include this weeks games, as I'm unaware of any members having significant site problems preventing them picking a team. I also feel that re-starting the league at GW2 would unfairly disadvantage those players who were prepared to take gambles on unseen players or potential non-starters prior to the first weeks play.

    Please post your views.

I noticed that there was some problems with their site but I managed to select the team I wanted and since there hasn't been any complaints in the thread I would assume that's the case for most of the others as well. Don't think we should re-start the league.
