Ah, ya got me. In for one olive doyle. Hope it softens up just like the canvas rivets. Those old fit pics from Ny sealed the deal.

Just received and tried on my Walnut Doyle.

Mike was right(as usual). This jacket and its color is super rad and I feel is a hair lighter in person than it appears to be in the pictures.

Hopefully with a bunch of washes and wear it will lighten up some.

One of my first Epaulet orders in 2014 was the OG Olive Doyle which is one of my favorites. I wear the heck out of it. I have a feeling the Walnut may rival it soon enough.

Pics!!!

I am torn because I have the Teba coming so I dont know if the Teba and Doyle are repetitive

I skipped the Teba in anticipation of the Doyle. But if I can buy two Doyles, you can buy a Teba and a Doyle. :)

Haha very true! I am getting married so I have spent a lot less on clothes and such to prepare for that haha

I didn't order a Teba(yet) but I think there are similarities. The Teba seems a little bit more formal to me though. The Doyles to me are more SWD which is my vibe....

Not sure of the fabric weight difference between the 2.

Depending on what color Teba you ordered, I'd definitely get a Doyle in a different color.

I see the Pauly Walnuts are sold out though. IMHO, I think that color should be restocked. They are fab yo.

I'm wearing the OG Olive as I type on me cell. Get the Olive Doyle if your Teba is Navy.

I love everything Military and that's what the Olive Doyle represents to me even though it's a French work jacket.

If I was a clothes designer, I'd do side slash pockets on everything! Well, everything to a point. I freakin' love them.:slayer:

Re-appearing in the thread after being caught up in my own crap for a few months. I think I was only behind by about 60 pages... :D

I'm also waiting for my Teba before I decide on a potential Doyle purchase.

I'm waiting for potential new colors on the Doyle. Kind of bummed that the grape/plum didn't work out. Was looking forward to that one.

Love that I'm also caught up in the "Teba coming...but Doyle?" thought process. Part of me wants a slouchy doyle for the cooler months in Walnut (curse those old photos looking BOSS), and the teba (which will carry me to fall) for those formal-ish days.

Edit: Walnut gone. RIP (well, temporarily).

Kickstand is my Epaulet Hero.
While a great shirt no doubt, my favorite part of that pic is the label.

It's old school union. Like the one in the camel overcoat that my dad bought from Beau Brummel in Queens in the early 60's.

Superb.

yea it sucks. I used to browse b/s all the time. now it's not pleasant at all to navigate so I don't even bother with it anymore

It took some time to get used to and I had to visit the B/S thread to get some help but it's been working just fine for me (sold two items last week and bought one). The navigation is actually easier IMO. Just my two cents. That being said, I was initially frustrated with the process and, like you, reached out here to advertise my Epaulet goods and my post was deleted :/
